We design and manufacture semi-automatic balers in-house for customers to process various different recyclables, from cardboard and paper to polythene plastic wrap, from plastic bottles to metal tins. The term semi-automatic means that the machine cycle starts automatically when material is detected in the charge box. This means that customers can integrate these balers with bin lifters, air extraction systems, conveyor belts and more to help automate the loading of the baler. The only manual intervention is for bale ejection whereby the operator ties off the bale by hand. Although manual, tying off is quick and easy making the semi-automatic baler perfect for customers requiring bulk/automatic loading of materials, but not generating quite enough quantity to warrant larger costs of fully automatic baling machinery. Simply load, lift or feed the baler with cardboard or plastics and wait for the bale made light to come on. Finally, simply tie the bale and start again.
