Capital Compactors and Balers use modern up to date computer software to enable the highest standards in reporting and response times via the service department based at our head office based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
Our service department team offers direct servicing & maintenance of our own equipment. Due to the size and coverage of our team we have the ability to offer competitive reliable servicing and repairs for our existing customers and also those who have previously purchased machines from alternative manufacturers.
We regularly update our fleet of field service vans throughout the UK to provide greater safety, comfort and more efficient environmental performance compliant to Euro 6 emissions. We favour the new Renault Traffic and Master vans, these give our engineers an excellent standard of work vehicle combined with cost savings achieved by stop start technology, which can ultimately be passed onto our customers. Live satnav traffic reporting, and GPS tracking controlled by a sophisticated IT program allows planned and un-planned maintenance to be booked and sent directly to each engineer’s tablet to give excellent response times up to seven days a week.
The vans are fully equipped, which enables us to provide a first class service with a response time typically the same day as called. Our stock control is managed live through the engineers’ tablets meaning any larger items can be dispatched from our factory quickly and effectively either directly to the site or drop box locations.
It is important to have your machine serviced on a regular basis. Not only is it a Health & Safety requirement it also helps to identify possible problems and enables you to arrange preventative maintenance at a time that is convenient to you and your business. This in turn has the potential to save you money as minor problems can often be identified and dealt with before they develop into major ones. Regular servicing helps to maintain the best possible performance of your machine, therefore, keeping waste disposal costs to a minimum.
As part of our service we check all Health & Safety decals, all moving parts, electrics, condition of hydraulics – topping up oil and clearing debris from inside the machine. After servicing is complete an engineer’s report can be emailed to you for your records. A full audit trail gives everybody full peace of mind for Health and Safety matters and sustains HSE compliance with the use of compacting and baling equipment.
