We use our own in-house service engineers to install, maintain and care for your equipment. Each engineer has a passion for machinery and providing the highest level of service. Our Field Service Engineers are highly experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and expertly equipped to deal with every eventuality.


With a large team of experienced UK engineers covering all areas we can offer fast response times. The highly qualified team look to provide first-time fixes to the waste equipment and have a proven track record of success. Factory

Capital Compactors & Balers have continually invested in bigger and larger facilities with the latest factory opening in 2015, it comprises of high-tech offices, meeting spaces, extensive production areas, state of the art paint studios, shot blaster facility and more, making it one of the largest, most modern compactor and baler manufacturing facilities in the UK. Centrally located, clean, safe, and well equipped. We’d be happy to arrange a tour for you, just get in touch!

Laurence

Laurence, CCL’s Technical Manager, part of team Capital since 2010. Laurence has a passion for all things machinery and electrical. Laurence used to run a service vehicle in the field but has since migrated to an operational capacity. Based in the south but often travelling to our Yorkshire based factory, Laurence is on hand to support the whole team.

Lucas

Lucas, North East, joined CCL in 2022. Lucas, a qualified and experienced fabricator welder now runs a service vehicle covering the North East.

Rhys

Rhys, Wales, part of the Capital team since 2017. Rhys has worked on compactors and balers for many years and continues to cover service, call out and installations in Wales.

Bob

Bob, Scotland, joined our fleet of field service engineers in 2020. Bob, the man from Dundee has many years of engineering experience. Before joining Capital, Bob used to be responsible for maintenance and engineering up keep of an energy recovery plant. Bob is now delivering expert service covering Scotland.

Roger

Roger, Midlands, Roger started at Capital in 2016. Roger is hydraulically bias but is an all round excellent engineer. Methodical and inquisitive, no fault could evade Roger.

Dean B

Dean B, Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, joined us in 2017. Dean is a mechanically minded engineer who can assemble and repair all things mechanical, quickly and efficiently.

Dean V

Dean V, Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, joined Capital in 2010. Dean’s skills include electrical fault finding and welding. He has various qualifications including electrical testing, forklift and scissor lift licenses. Dean is an experienced engineer who offers excellent phone support amongst the team

Mike

Mike, West country, joined the team in 2019. Mike has spent the last 25 years working on compactors and balers from complete rebuilds to new builds including panel building and fabrication. He is skilled at all round fault finding in electrics and hydraulics

Krystian

Krystian, another London based engineer, joined CCL in 2016. Before joining Capital, Krystian previously worked in the electrical industry and is qualified to C&G 2382-18 18th edition and C&G 2392-10 inspection and testing. He is currently working towards C&G level 3 diploma in electrical installation.

Dave

Dave, the Midlands, joined Capital Compactors ltd in 2018. Dave has been a field service engineer in the waste management industry for over 21 years. He is multi skilled, with hydraulics, electrical and fabrication work and has a City & Guilds part 1 and 2 and HNC in electrical installation.

Angus

Angus, Northampton and surrounding areas, joined in 2016. Angus is a multi skilled field service engineer and comes from an engineering background spanning over 35 + years

Graham

Graham, Yorkshire, joined Capital Compactors in 2017. Graham's skills include electrical and mechanical fault finding. He has a City and Guilds level 3 in mechanical engineering, and a NVQ level 3 in engineering maintenance (mechanical).

Shaun

Shaun, South Coast, joined us in 2016. Shaun's skills are electrical and hydraulic fault finding and repairs. He prides himself on his servicing standards as the whole team do

Matt

Matt, Manchester and surrounding areas, joined Capital in 2012. Matt started servicing waste handling machinery 17 years ago as he wanted a different challenge and is as a great all-round engineer with electrical, hydraulic and fitting knowledge and experience. Matt also has a city and guilds level 4 in fabricating and welding.

Lee

Lee, Sussex & Kent, joined the team in 2011. Lee completed a 4-year apprenticeship as a radar engineer and has City & Guilds in mechanical engineering, fabrication, welding, electrical and electronics. Lee is one of our many fully qualified electricians.

Steve

Steve, one of our London engineers, joined Capital in 2018. Steve’s skills include mechanical and hydraulic engineering, and welding. Steve comes from a plant & HGV fitting background.

Danny

Danny, based in the Southeast, joined our engineering fleet in 2021. Danny is a multi-franchise skilled engineer working with fabrication, electrical, and hydraulics and fault finding. He has a City and Guilds background in agricultural machinery engineering.

Brian

Brian, based in the East, joined the CCL team in 2015. Brian’s is highly skilled in mechanical engineering, welding, mechanical and electrical fault finding.

Paul

Paul, based in the midlands, joined Capital in 2015. Paul has 35 years’ experience within engineering disciplines. Paul is an accomplished all-round fault finder across all aspects of compaction and baling machinery, from electrical and hydraulic through to mechanical. He holds City and Guilds qualifications in electrics and Mig and Tig welding.

Head Office

Our HQ team supports the operation from West Sussex. Stationed here are our accounts, sales administration and HR teams, as well as our elite machinery aftercare service department.
